What you will do

• Develop and maintain project procurement plans, bid packages, procurement schedules, risk registers, and long-lead tracking.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations, supplier qualification, commercial negotiations, contracting, expediting, and supplier performance management.
• Coordinate procurement with project management, engineering, construction, quality, safety, and finance to meet scope, schedule, budget, and compliance objectives.
• Manage procurement changes, claims support, invoices, pay applications, commercial documentation, and project reporting.
• Lead procurement closeout, including warranty and turnover documentation, final payment processing, lien waivers where applicable, and lessons learned.
• Improve procurement processes, templates, supplier metrics, and market intelligence while mentoring project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, construction management, engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• Preferred 10 years of procurement experience, including capital equipment and subcontracting services; EPCM experience is preferred.
• Experience leading sourcing for complex custom equipment packages, including contracts over $10 million and portfolios over $50 million.
• Experience managing end-to-end sourcing projects, resource planning, cost and schedule tracking, supplier relationships, stakeholders, and procurement teams.
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, risk mitigation, document control, technical-document interpretation, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
