Procurement Sourcing Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office and up to 25–30% travel.

What you will do

• Lead supplier onboarding and ramp-up for strategic platforms and new product introductions, ensuring quality, capacity, cost, and delivery readiness.
• Manage supplier-related program timelines, milestones, dashboards, readiness metrics, and risk mitigation plans.
• Partner with engineering, operations, Supplier Quality, Commodity Management, and Advanced Manufacturing teams to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies.
• Identify, assess, and develop suppliers for emerging technologies and long-term platforms.
• Support dual-sourcing, localization, resilience, make-versus-buy analysis, supplier selection, negotiations, cost modeling, and value engineering.
• Provide executive-level reporting and ensure compliance with procurement policies, sustainability expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supplier development, program management, or NPI sourcing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier capability assessment, and supply-chain risk management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-phase programs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with supplier ramp-ups, new product introductions, or strategic platform launches.
• Experience with castings, steel, stampings, or plastics commodities.
• Project management certification.
