What you will do
- Oversee the DoD Technical Control Facility and manage technical control services, telecommunications networks, circuit engineering, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure 24x7x365 circuit restoration, fault isolation, status reporting, testing, quality control, trend analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Manage the Technical Control Facility Service Desk, including daily operations, COMSEC integrity, trouble tickets, and Tier I and II maintenance support.
- Administer, maintain, and engineer transport equipment and networks while ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Manage COMSEC accounts, encryption changeovers, issue and destruction procedures, and technical control personnel training.
- Coordinate node site support for worldwide missions and use MADSS for real-time and predictive assessments of operational impacts on the DODIN.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least five years of experience managing and operating cryptographic facilities.
- Experience maintaining Technical Control Facility operations and supervising technical control employees on programs of similar size and scope.
- Knowledge of switches, encryption devices, network operations consoles, circuits, Tier 2 Technical Control Helpdesk operations, and transmission path restoration.
- Knowledge of ITSM best practices and incident, service request, change, problem, configuration, and equipment or service requisition management.
