Command Center Specialist

Location: On site in Austin, Texas; occasional travel to data center sites may be required.

What you will do

• Monitor operational dashboards, infrastructure alerts, incidents, service requests, facility conditions, and business-impacting metrics.
• Support incident, change, and service request processes across HPC and digital asset mining data center environments.
• Escalate alarms, incidents, and critical events according to established response procedures.
• Maintain incident records, operational logs, shift documentation, and escalation records.
• Coordinate with on-site and cross-functional teams during emergencies, disruptions, response, and recovery activities.
• Provide operational updates and contribute to SOP improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant data center, Command Center, or operational support experience.
• Experience with operational monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure event coordination in a data center or Command Center environment.
• Understanding of data center operations, critical infrastructure, and operational support processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 environment.

Nice to have

• Understanding of ITIL service delivery concepts.
• Experience with Slack, Confluence, Ignition, CMMS, or similar monitoring, collaboration, and ticketing platforms.
