What you will do
- Configure, install, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain AF JWICS network infrastructure supporting WPAFB and its SCIFs.
- Provide network advisement and assistance to remote industry partners and geographically separated government SCIFs.
- Manage cybersecurity network monitoring and management tools, including Infoblox, SolarWinds, GEMONE, and ISE.
- Coordinate with the Site ISSM and DoD partner organizations on cybersecurity policy, RMF controls, continuous monitoring, and Authority to Operate requirements.
- Support collateral LAN systems, including NIPR and SIPR, and maintain cryptographic equipment, firmware, and configurations.
- Perform COMSEC Responsible Officer duties for designated AFLCMC/IN customer locations and conduct investigative research and trend analysis.
Requirements
- Active or current Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility is required.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, including three years in the DoD; alternatively, seven years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including five years in the DoD.
- Intermediate-level qualifications for DoD 8140 work roles 441-Network Operations, 451-System Administrator, and 411-Technical Support Specialist.
- Current knowledge of security policies and manuals, with the ability to work with DoD, military and civilian personnel, and industry partners.
- Must be eligible for Special Access Program information and willing to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph if required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maintain privileged system access, and travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility.
