Land Supervisor (Environmental Engineering)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin, United States. The role requires regular work at field locations, governmental agencies, corporate entities, and client offices, including outdoor activities and travel as dictated by job requirements.

Salary: USD 38.75–40.62 per hour, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of land projects, project teams, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate multiple project managers and maintain consistent communication across projects and stakeholders.
• Assess risks, identify negative trends and scope changes, and implement mitigation and corrective action plans.
• Supervise land personnel across survey, title, acquisition, documentation, administration, permitting, and construction support.
• Report project progress to clients through daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
• Conduct complex negotiations and oversee personnel assignments, performance, time, expenses, and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Preference is given to local candidates.
• Ability to travel, walk long distances over varying terrain, and work both indoors and outdoors in changing climates.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and perform regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
