Senior Project Manager – Operational Technologies (EMS/ADMS/SCADA)

Location: New York, New York; candidates near other offices may be considered. Travel to client locations may be required up to 50% or as needed.

Salary: USD $158,017.60–$222,955.20 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of large-scale EMS, ADMS, OMS, Historian, and SCADA projects from initial request through client migration.
• Own project scope, cost, schedule, risks, budgets, resource forecasts, and delivery milestones.
• Assemble and manage multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Develop Statements of Work, workflow plans, schedules, risk mitigation plans, and project budgets.
• Coordinate systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, production turnover, and migration activities.
• Report project progress, changes, and risks to stakeholders and present updates to steering committees and senior executives.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of project management experience in the utility domain.
• Experience leading large-scale, multifaceted, enterprise-wide operational technology projects in an electric or gas utility environment.
• In-depth knowledge of major EMS, SCADA, or ADMS systems, including OSII, GE, ABB, Schneider, or Siemens.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, presentation, communication, leadership, team-building, budgeting, and financial skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and to travel to client locations up to 50% or as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing large SCADA, EMS, or ADMS programs, preferably on the technology vendor side.
• PMP certification.
