Chief Project Engineer (Nitrogen Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and supervise the Project Engineering group while providing technical support across capital projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and supervise engineering and construction contractors during plant replacements, modifications, and additions.
• Develop project scopes, justification documents, schedules, resource plans, and implementation strategies.
• Manage the site's annual capital spending forecast, five-year capital plan, and monthly project cash flows.
• Lead the Management of Change process for major projects and evaluate projects related to nitrogen manufacturing.
• Support engineering work requests, turnaround planning, and special projects while improving safety, reliability, efficiency, production, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in an engineering role, including 5+ years of project execution in nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or refinery environments preferred.
• Experience supervising engineers or a strong technical background in fertilizer manufacturing.
• Experience managing and implementing projects, including capital projects exceeding $5 million from scope development through execution.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and engineering or construction contractors.
• Onsite work in Claremore, Oklahoma is required.
