Shipping Technician-US (Unfilled) (Manufacturing)

Location: Yazoo City, Mississippi, United States. Onsite role requiring 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Monitor assigned chemical production, shipping, and port-area processes and equipment.
• Operate valves, instruments, mechanical equipment, gas metering stations, electronic scales, and handheld monitoring systems.
• Collect process data, maintain daily records, and request work orders to keep the area operating properly.
• Safely load trucks and rail cars with outgoing products and unload rail cars into plant storage systems.
• Clean and maintain company-fleet railcars and operate switch engines safely.
• Coordinate shipping and loading activities with related plant and port operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience in chemical operations, oil and gas, railroad, construction, or another industrial setting preferred.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, mathematics, analytical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be physically able and willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts and required overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work safely while protecting personal, team, and environmental health.
