Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

A company operating plant-level shipping, receiving, production, and transportation activities.

What you will do

• Manage and schedule inbound and outbound loads in coordination with sales and production.
• Coordinate loading, shipping orders, delivery appointments, routing, and carrier dispatch.
• Select carriers, negotiate transportation rates, and audit freight bills for payment.
• Manage internal equipment and drivers, verify driver logs, and maintain logistics data.
• Resolve supplier and customer transportation issues, including tracing and expediting orders.
• Document shortages, investigate causes, and file claims for inventory loss or damage.

Requirements

• Preferred bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience as a Production Manager or in an equivalent role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work onsite in Union City, Georgia.
• Ability to follow company procedures and DOT regulations.
