Shipping Clerk (Manufacturing)

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Plan and manage inbound and outbound freight schedules, trailers, cross-dock operations, and customer deliveries.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, drivers, vendors, security, internal departments, and customer care.
• Process shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, tracking records, and customs paperwork.
• Receive, unload, inspect, label, store, and select goods for shipment while verifying contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Resolve delays, damages, shortages, customs holds, inventory discrepancies, and scanning issues using BPCS and Profound.
• Oversee yard safety and forklift fleet operations, support warehouse personnel training, and maintain productivity, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical problem-solving, communication, listening, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work extra hours, weekends, shifts longer than eight hours, and mandatory overtime when required by production or project needs.
• Ability to follow OSHA, company safety, and state and federal regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international freight or customs processes.
