Maintenance Planning Supervisor

Location: Yazoo City, Mississippi, United States; onsite at a manufacturing plant

What you will do

• Supervise the maintenance planning department and provide work direction and technical support for routine, shutdown, turnaround, and capital project activities.
• Lead turnaround planning and scheduling, ensuring milestones and KPIs support safe, on-time, and on-budget execution.
• Direct planners in preparing routine, preventive-maintenance, and emergent repair work orders, packages, resources, parts, and safety criteria in the CMMS.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, contractors, and other departments to resolve issues and improve maintenance processes.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports, maintenance KPIs, schedule-compliance updates, cost initiatives, and departmental records.
• Lead safety meetings, participate in job safety analyses, support EHS programs, and coach and develop team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with routine/preventive-maintenance, turnaround, and capital-project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, computerized maintenance management software, and Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of asset and project management, maintenance practices, problem-solving, communication, and work organization.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and adjust working hours to plant conditions.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen is required.

Nice to have

• Degree in business administration, industrial technology, construction management, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous supervisory, team leadership, or turnaround planning experience.
• Experience developing employees and working cross-functionally in maintenance and operations environments.
