Account Executive, Select Commercial Lines (Property & Casualty Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role based in Des Peres or St. Louis, Missouri, United States

What you will do

• Provide proactive, personalized account management for Select Commercial Lines clients with annual revenue of $10,000 to $15,000.
• Market and place commercial insurance renewals, determine suitable carriers, and analyze quotes and coverage options.
• Recommend and implement insurance programs, provide technical guidance, and negotiate with carriers on clients’ behalf.
• Manage renewal workflows, invoicing, collections, cancellations, and account performance in line with company guidelines.
• Support new business sales, cross-selling, and meetings with prospective clients alongside Producers and Practice Leaders.
• Maintain at least 92% retention on the assigned book of business and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Ability to manage complex tasks with multiple concrete and abstract variables and work with minimal instruction.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.

Nice to have

• College degree.
• Knowledge of Sagitta or ImageRight.
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU.
