Registered Nurse - EVES

Location: Fridley, Minnesota, United States; onsite at a client Health Center

Salary: $36.00–$44.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners on further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision screenings, medical tests, and treatments.
• Administer medications and emergency care while following legal scope-of-practice requirements.
• Maintain medical equipment, patient records, infection-control procedures, and a clean, safe care environment.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an associate degree in nursing is required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or ambulatory care clinic.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the site contract.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
