Project Manager II, Transmission

Location: Hooksett, New Hampshire, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary.

Salary: $122,700–$136,330 per year, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Manage high-risk, large and complex transmission projects, including substations, transmission lines, and interconnection projects.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance with company policies, regulations, and laws.
• Coordinate regulatory approvals and work with regulators, local officials, municipal departments, external stakeholders, and senior management.
• Lead the development and evaluation of engineering, design, construction, procurement, and material bid documents.
• Represent Eversource at municipal, homeowner, regulatory, and other interested-party meetings, including as an expert witness in regulatory proceedings.
• Guide, coach, and manage team-member performance while developing less experienced personnel.

Requirements

• At least five years of project management or related experience, or demonstrated competencies equivalent to Project Manager II experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices, with experience planning and managing multiple complex transmission projects concurrently.
• Proven leadership, team-building, coaching, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; a degree in finance, business, or an equivalent field and equivalent experience will be considered. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
