Systems Integration and Test Engineer - Junior (Aerospace)

Location: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States; this is not a remote position, though limited telework may be authorized based on mission requirements. Travel may be required up to 25%, including CONUS and OCONUS travel.

hirify.global supports the 46 Test Squadron/TGBC with systems integration and test engineering for advanced datalinks and digital communications technology.

What you will do

• Design, construct, operate, maintain, and support test equipment and systems in the Advanced Datalinks Test Lab.
• Develop and maintain test-support hardware, software, scripts, and engineering-solution libraries in accordance with security guidelines.
• Integrate and verify hardware and electrical components using electrical measurement tools.
• Analyze test-equipment failures and recommend engineering solutions.
• Support test architecture development and integrate solutions into test plans, test cards, data-analysis plans, and formal reports.
• Review technical documentation, coordinate with program offices, present engineering solutions, and support program-related testing, data analysis, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a relevant technical field, with 0–3 years of experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and approval for TS/SCI clearance and Special Access Programs.
• Strong organization, communication, decision-making, initiative, and self-motivation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to present technical information in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision and travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of digital data RF systems or datalinks and their use.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with software or hardware testing and development of automated test tools or fixtures.
• Current active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
