What you will do

• Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation devices, equipment, and systems throughout the facility.
• Work with systems ranging from low voltage through 13.8 kV, including power distribution, motors, lighting, cabling, wiring, and high-voltage equipment.
• Diagnose and repair PLC/DCS systems, flow meters, pressure and temperature transmitters, valves, positioners, and pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
• Read electrical and instrumentation manuals, prints, and drawings, and apply mathematics, physics, AC/DC theory, electronics, pneumatics, and reliability methods.
• Operate lifts and other equipment, access parts from the storeroom, complete required paperwork, and check email at least once per shift.
• Train other I/E technicians and cooperate with other crafts to improve maintenance flexibility and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of industrial instrumentation and electrical maintenance experience or formal technical training in instrumentation and electrical systems is preferred.
• Ability to work shifts and overtime as required and to work autonomously in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting heavy items, standing for up to 16 hours per day, and working outdoors.
• Ability to work safely around large equipment, moving vehicles, and in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment while following PPE and safety procedures, including NFPA 70E arc-flash standards.
• Must already have authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
