Technician-I&E (Process Instrumentation)

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA operates large-scale olefins and polyolefins manufacturing facilities in North America.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust motors, circuits, valves, analyzers, and other critical plant equipment.
• Calibrate instruments and analyzers using appropriate test equipment and standards.
• Troubleshoot motor and motor starter circuits up to 5KV, lighting circuits, and complete electronic or pneumatic control loops.
• Provide field instrumentation support for pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical, electronic, LAN, and SCADA-connected process equipment.
• Develop work plans for installation, calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting while minimizing production impact.
• Participate in incident investigations, corrective action development, equipment records maintenance, and support for mechanics and operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of full-time practical process instrumentation experience in petrochemical, refinery, pulp and paper, or a related industry; or a two-year technical associate degree, ISA CCST certification, or equivalent.
• Must be able to acquire a TWIC card.
• Ability to follow safety, health, environmental, housekeeping, and site operating procedures.
• Ability to communicate equipment and project status verbally and in writing and maintain technical records using computers.
