Facilities Maintenance Electrician

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; on-site only. Remote and hybrid options are not available. The role may include shift work, overtime, and on-call duties.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, industrial systems, equipment, grounds, and lighting systems.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building automation, and other building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, HVAC systems, and related installed systems.
• Complete work orders, emergency repairs, maintenance records, and other assigned tasks.
• Monitor building operations and maintain energy management measures to control operating costs.
• Coordinate mechanics, technicians, and outside contractors when required, and respond to emergency situations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, trade school training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of building maintenance experience, including strong commercial or maintenance electrician experience.
• Thorough knowledge of building systems operations, maintenance, and repair, including HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems.
• Appropriate trade licenses or permits as required, such as a Journeyman or Master Electrician License or applicable city licenses.
• Knowledge of energy management systems and basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to use manual and power-driven tools, climb ladders and stairs, and frequently lift at least 50 pounds.
