Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Full-time, on-site at the facility in Bend, Oregon, USA

Salary: $35–45/hour, depending on experience

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on production systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, parts, and materials, and help develop preventive maintenance programs for new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and utility problems with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify root causes.
• Manage parts, tools, drawings, vendors, quotations, scheduling, safety orientations, and permits required for repairs.
• Support equipment installation, mechanical and fabrication work, and cross-functional improvement projects.
• Recommend and implement improvements that increase safety, efficiency, capacity, and compliance.

Requirements

• One to three years of maintenance experience in an industrial plant or field service role.
• Experience with plumbing, compressed air, HVAC, building automation, and fire suppression systems.
• Knowledge of control circuits and troubleshooting pumps, motors, and other electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and installing programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and pneumatic production systems.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics, with strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
