Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing)

Location: Rockwall - Channell HQ, United States; on-site work indoors and outdoors with exposure to seasonal temperatures.

Pay: $22–$34 per hour

What you will do

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform reactive maintenance on production lines by repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify improvement opportunities, and complete machine tear-down, repair, and assembly.
• Inspect equipment and verify proper working conditions.
• Work with operators and team members to meet daily production schedules.
• Operate a forklift safely and complete assigned maintenance projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience.
• Experience with structural foam, blow molding, or injection molding.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of departmental safety rules, Safety Data Sheets, and relevant ISO requirements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, computer, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform physical maintenance duties, wear required PPE, and work overtime as needed.
