Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Lancaster, New York, USA. First shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot automated equipment failures and initiate repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment cleaning, machine changeovers, and tooling replacement.
• Open and close the facility, start up and shut down equipment, and switch to generator power during emergencies.
• Use metalworking tools, move machinery, respond to spills, and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Requirements

• Knowledge of pneumatics, ladder logic, basic electrical systems, and PLC equipment.
• Forklift and scissor lift certifications required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical-school education with two years of PLC-controlled equipment repair experience, or a high school diploma with six years of relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing industry experience.
