What you will do

• Provide mechanical engineering guidance for the design of complex mechanical equipment and systems.
• Investigate operational issues, evaluate existing systems, and develop applications and modifications to address malfunctions or changing requirements.
• Plan assignments, estimate manpower and materials, prepare schedules, and coordinate activities across program stages.
• Supervise and coordinate technicians involved in fabricating and installing mechanical and related electronic equipment.
• Develop complex test procedures, review test results, and prepare technical reports, manuals, and evaluation plans.
• Prepare, review, correct, release, and maintain engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering with ABET accreditation and 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in DoD or USG ISR/SOF organizations; or a Bachelor’s degree with ABET accreditation and 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in DoD or USG ISR/SOF organizations.
• On-aircraft or on-wing experience is required.
• Experience with depot maintenance on military aircraft is required.
• Secret security clearance is required.
• Ability to travel approximately 15%.
