What you will do

• Prepare mechanical designs, specifications, layouts, drawings, and production process changes.
• Verify component form, fit, and function through dimensional studies and engineering-data correlation.
• Coordinate manufacturing and testing of samples and customer prototypes.
• Investigate manufacturing and quality problems and develop compliant design solutions.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and internal manufacturing, quality, purchasing, marketing, and engineering personnel.
• Process estimate requests and product requests while supporting business development and product management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in design or design engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Creo is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• No security clearance or certifications are required.
