Software Engineer (Python/Java/React)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid remote/in-office

What you will do

• Develop backend and frontend services using Python, Java, and React.
• Build scalable and reliable APIs, reusable components, service integrations, and user-facing features.
• Support core platform functionality, business logic, data processing, and team-owned services.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software delivery practices.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, technical discussions, and continuous improvements to platform reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design and improve services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python and Java.
• Experience building frontend applications or components with React.
• Experience with backend services, APIs, service integrations, and business logic.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable, and performant code.
• Availability for the hybrid Sofia-based working arrangement.
