TL;DR
Software Engineer - Data Replication & Application Development (React, Node.js, .NET Core): Building and maintaining replication environments, internal portals, utilities, and REST APIs for shipping data systems with an accent on database troubleshooting, automation, and production support. Focus on diagnosing replication conflicts and data drift, optimizing SQL queries, resolving connectivity and performance issues, and developing tools for client onboarding.
Location: Onsite in Chennai, India

What you will do
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot ShipPalm replication across production and client environments.
- Perform replication health checks, conflict resolution, node registration, channel configuration, and data validation.
- Develop PowerShell, .NET, and Python utilities and scripts to automate replication activities.
- Build and maintain internal portals, tools, dashboards, and REST APIs with ReactJS, NodeJS, .NET Core, and Python.
- Monitor production replication instances, resolve incidents within SLA, and investigate root causes and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with onboarding, support, QA, and infrastructure teams on client setup and delivery.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software development experience with hands-on ReactJS, NodeJS, and .NET Core development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, REST APIs, and PowerShell scripting for automation, monitoring, and deployment.
- Experience diagnosing replication conflicts, data drift, connectivity issues, and production performance problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to own production support responsibilities, document technical processes, and work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work onsite in Chennai, India.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Python and MongoDB.
- Experience with Azure hosting, Grafana, Application Insights, or similar monitoring and alerting tools.
- Experience with logistics, shipping, freight, or other high-volume transactional data systems.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development.
