Senior .NET Engineer (Azure)

Location: Sofia or Ruse, Bulgaria — hybrid

What you will do

• Design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications using .NET, C#, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Build end-to-end solutions covering architecture, APIs, backend services, frontend components, integrations, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Migrate legacy applications through pragmatic, incremental modernization approaches.
• Implement secure-by-design architectures, automated testing, monitoring, secret management, dependency management, and least-privilege access controls.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment promotion processes.
• Contribute through code reviews, architectural discussions, technical mentoring, documentation, incident troubleshooting, and continuous engineering improvements.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET, with hands-on experience in Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, service-oriented architecture, and cloud-native application development.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, Terraform, Bicep, Git workflows, and release management.
• Proficiency in unit, integration, and contract testing, Test-Driven Development, software architecture, secure development, monitoring, and production support.
• Background in technical leadership and mentoring, Agile delivery, technical documentation, decision management, Python and PowerShell scripting, and incident troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and AI-First Engineering.
