Senior VDC Modeler (Revit)

Location: Hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA; Clifton Park, NY; Dallas, TX; or Phoenix, AZ, United States

Salary: $100,000–$130,000+ per year, depending on location, experience, education, and skills

What you will do

• Produce and oversee detailed electrical Revit models and shop drawings for mission-critical projects.
• Lead clash detection, constructability reviews, model coordination, and resolution using Navisworks.
• Translate engineering design intent into coordinated, field-ready models for fabrication and installation.
• Lead coordination meetings with project teams, contractors, architects, clients, and design partners.
• Coordinate RFIs, model revisions, and project deliverables while maintaining quality and schedule commitments.
• Mentor junior VDC team members and resolve complex coordination challenges throughout construction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional VDC, BIM, or construction modeling experience.
• Advanced production experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Hands-on experience modeling electrical systems, including conduit, cable tray, lighting, and equipment.
• Experience producing construction models and shop drawings for contractor or fabrication workflows.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, lead coordination meetings, and drive multidisciplinary project execution.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of contractor-side VDC/BIM experience.
• Completed mission-critical or data center projects.
• Electrical contractor experience.
• Autodesk Certified Professional certification in Revit or similar.
