Virtual Construction - Senior Manager

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Virtual Construction department across BIM coordination, clash detection, 4D sequencing and animation, and model-based quality control.
• Develop and implement department-wide SOPs, BIM Execution Plans, quality protocols, and VDC scope plans.
• Manage staffing, schedules, budgets, workload allocation, and delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
• Direct federated model integration and conflict resolution across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty contractor disciplines.
• Analyze construction schedules, develop sequencing simulations, and support logistics planning, phasing studies, and risk mitigation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers while representing virtual construction capabilities to clients and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of dedicated virtual design and construction experience.
• Experience leading and developing others, allocating staffing, and managing budgets across concurrent projects.
• Proven experience implementing virtual construction strategies on complex projects and enforcing BIM Execution Plans and department standards.
• Current hands-on knowledge of BIM tools and VDC processes, including Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Forma, Synchro Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and shop drawings and communicate complex coordination decisions to external stakeholders.
• A relevant four-year degree is preferred but not required; additional applicable experience may substitute.

Nice to have

• Experience leading managers or team leads who own their functions.
• Advanced AI-driven VDC workflows, automation tools, Python, or Dynamo scripting experience.
• Experience with CM Builder, reality capture, scan-to-model verification, NVIDIA Omniverse, or digital twins.
• Experience supporting data centers, healthcare, aviation, advanced manufacturing, or other technically complex projects.
