What you will do
- Create and maintain discipline-specific BIM models, systems, content, project information, views, and sheets.
- Generate BIM elements according to the required Level of Development, Digital Delivery Plan, project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, diagrams, and accurately annotated modeling documentation.
- Coordinate designs with other discipline models through design reviews and 3D coordination processes.
- Monitor and improve model health, company standards, and digital delivery outputs.
- Communicate model issues and needs with the Project Digital Delivery Leader and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience.
- At least 5 years of digital design and BIM element authoring experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of discipline relationships and building systems operations.
- Advanced skills in 3D design software, document management infrastructure, 3D coordination tools, Microsoft Office, and communication tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards, discipline codes and specifications, automation and programming applications, software add-ins, and content management.
- Strong client service, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- VDC experience in healthcare, mission-critical, or laboratory projects.
- Experience running clash reports and preparing Navis models for project coordination.
- Experience writing project-specific BEPs.
- Experience with Dynamo automation.
