Assistant VDC Lead (BIM)

Salary: $96,100–$144,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Produce and oversee VDC deliverables, activities, resources, schedules, and coordination milestones across projects and divisions.
• Support hiring, development, supervision, and training of VDC team members and project teams.
• Create realistic renderings, graphics, animations, pursuit materials, and interview visuals.
• Set up BIM background models, real-world and project coordinates, cloud collaboration workspaces, and surveying and layout workflows.
• Use reality capture and existing-conditions data to identify discrepancies, create accurate models, and compare conditions with design intent.
• Manage constructability reviews, clash resolution, design changes, quantity take-offs, fabrication files, as-builts, and closeout deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of design, engineering, or construction experience.
• Extensive knowledge of industry-standard BIM software, with Revit experience expected.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications and apply commercial construction means and methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and travel to support VDC needs.
