is a US-based product company developing products for mobile app monetization, with offices in Warsaw, Barcelona, and Parkland and a globally distributed workforce.
What you will do
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency translation.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, management commentary, and technical accounting memos under U.S. GAAP.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, dashboards, and financial data analysis in partnership with FP&A and business leaders.
- Design and operate internal controls, SOX-aligned frameworks, audit readiness processes, and external audit coordination.
- Use AI, automation, BI tools, advanced Excel, and SQL to improve reconciliations, anomaly detection, reporting, and close workflows.
- Manage NetSuite, lead accounting process improvements, oversee tax and regulatory filings, and mentor accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA required or active CPA candidate; public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP, advanced Excel, and working knowledge of SQL and/or BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience applying AI or machine-learning tools to finance or accounting workflows, including validating automated output.
Nice to have
- Exposure to SOX, public-company reporting, IPO preparation, or audit readiness.
- Experience with FloQast, BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Avalara, Python, or R.
