Accounting Manager

What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and prepare or review journal entries.
• Ensure financial statements, general ledgers, reconciliations, and subsidiary ledgers are accurate and complete.
• Mentor accounting staff, set expectations, and provide guidance on complex accounting matters.
• Partner with finance leadership, operations, external auditors, and tax partners.
• Translate accounting data into insights that support business decisions.
• Streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Experience with enterprise accounting systems; Workday experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead work and collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience improving accounting workflows through automation or AI-enabled tools.
• ERP optimization or system implementation experience.
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments.
• Experience with data visualization, digital agencies, marketing services, consulting, or integrated financial and operational reporting.
