Sr Mgr Operations (Distribution Center)

Location: Perryville, Maryland, United States; onsite

Salary: $116,000–$174,000 annually, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Oversee daily distribution center operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, loading, shipment verification, material handling, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead and measure operational processes to ensure excellent order fulfillment and production performance.
• Support sales representatives and leadership by responding to service failures, customer concerns, and complaints.
• Manage and develop warehouse managers, supervisors, leads, and hourly employees through hiring, training, performance management, compensation, and workforce planning.
• Maintain safe working practices, housekeeping, safety meetings, records, and compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations.
• Oversee budgets, expenses, asset preservation, major projects, policies, and operational outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of management experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent and at least 7 years of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop subordinates and engage and support warehouse teams.
• Experience managing through multiple managers and/or supervisors, with responsibility for hiring, performance reviews, training, and personnel planning.
• Strong communication, writing, presentation, customer relations, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, extensive time demands, complex situations, budgets, and compliance requirements.
