Sr Manager, US Plant Supply Chain (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Lake Zurich, Illinois, United States; hybrid role with onsite work three days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Salary: $142,000–$157,000 annually, based on experience. Eligible for a bonus plan with a target of 14% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end supply chain performance across three U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
• Direct production planning, scheduling, inventory optimization, material replenishment, distribution, and supply risk management.
• Lead the U.S. plant supply planning team and provide matrix leadership across manufacturing, quality, procurement, finance, commercial, and global supply chain functions.
• Lead plant S&OP/IBP and S&OE execution, including back-order reporting, executive reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Provide supply chain leadership for product launches, lifecycle changes, multi-sourcing maintenance, and network optimization.
• Develop automated supply projection tools and lead initiatives that improve service, working capital, manufacturing resilience, and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of related inventory management experience and in-depth knowledge of supply chain practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, decision-making, leadership, and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members, influence business partners, manage multiple priorities, and drive fact-based decisions.
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge is required; SAP experience is preferred. Effective spoken and written English is required for work in a regulated environment.
