Senior Manager, Distribution / Inventory Control (Medical Devices)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; onsite, full time

Base salary: $141,600–$212,400 per year, plus eligible bonus or commission and potential equity.

What you will do

• Set strategic direction, goals, operating objectives, and work plans for inventory control functions.
• Oversee raw materials through finished-goods inventory across USCAN sites.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, work instructions, and material-control systems.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, cycle counting, adjustments, segregation controls, 3PL reconciliations, and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, planning, purchasing, R&D, quality, audit, and digital services teams to improve processes, data, and KPIs.
• Lead continuous improvement, system enhancements, discrepancy resolution, and the development of an effective team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of related experience, including 3–6 years of management experience.
• Extensive experience in inventory control and inventory management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of distribution, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, quality, and audit processes.
• Experience with ERP and WMS systems; SAP is preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles, business systems, data management, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead and develop a diverse team, solve complex business problems, influence stakeholders, and exercise sound judgment.
