Location: East Syracuse, NY, United States. Thursday–Sunday shift from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; weekday first-shift training is required.

Salary: $54,569–$90,948 annually, with a possible company bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative shifts.

What you will do

  • Operate wastewater treatment systems by adjusting flow valves and working with pneumatic, magnetic drive, and metering pumps.
  • Monitor batch treatment processes, collect samples, record analytical readings, and enter treatment data electronically.
  • Transfer, store, and dispose of chemicals and contaminated materials according to environmental procedures.
  • Respond to incidental chemical spills and participate in chemical management response activities.
  • Audit PPE and chemical safety compliance and patrol chemical storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean, safe manufacturing environment and report accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of wastewater treatment experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and apply chemical processing guidelines, environmental regulations, and hazardous-waste procedures.
  • Ability to complete a 12-module hazardous-material training program and certify as a forklift operator.
  • General computer skills, including electronic record updates, data entry, and email communication.
  • Ability to work around machinery, noise, moving parts, and chemicals, and independently push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Associate degree.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or with AS9102.
