Production Supervisor - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Holdrege, Nebraska, United States; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Lead daily production shift operations and ensure manufacturing schedules are completed safely, on time, and efficiently.
• Supervise, coordinate, onboard, coach, and develop assigned production employees.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Materials, Operations Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and other departments.
• Compile and analyze production, performance, safety, and productivity data and communicate activities between shifts.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and an orderly work environment.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and inventory.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• Experience coordinating production activities and maintaining workforce capacity to meet production plans.
• Effective communication, relationship-building, coaching, and shop-floor conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds unassisted or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to comply with facility PPE requirements, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, appropriate clothing, and safety shoes.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or another ERP system such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience as a team lead or leading project teams in an operational environment.
