2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Mentor, Ohio, United States. Onsite manufacturing production environment; scheduled hours are 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

What you will do

• Lead daily production activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Maintain safety, quality, accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement standards.
• Work directly on the production floor, supporting employees and resolving operational issues.
• Track safety, quality, machine efficiency, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery metrics.
• Support capacity planning, staffing, training, scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, and vacation approvals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and support forklift operators and production associates.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, plant operations, quality standards, and production metrics.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work actively on the production floor, including frequent walking and standing and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP and Workday or similar HR and timekeeping systems.
• Forklift operation knowledge or experience with material-handling teams.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
