Sr. Manager, Retention Analytics

Location: Hybrid role based within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub in Frisco, Texas; San Jose, California; Newport Beach, California; or New York, New York. Onsite attendance is required as needed, likely a few times per month. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Salary: USD $135,910–$223,285 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead the Retention Analytics team and provide insights that shape retention strategy and execution.
• Prepare executive-ready materials covering retention trends, plan performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Build annual and quarterly plans with Engagement and Retention, Finance, Product, and Analytics stakeholders.
• Own retention forecasting, measure initiatives and A/B tests, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize messaging.
• Modernize reporting by partnering with Data Engineering to automate dashboards and reduce manual work.
• Analyze subscriber behavior, churn risks, conversion levers, journey pain points, and high-value customer segments; manage and coach 2–4 analysts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in analytics, management consulting, finance, or a similar field, including people leadership.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, reporting accuracy, and decision-making under uncertainty.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear executive narratives and visuals.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Working fluency with SQL and Python, plus the ability to use generative AI tools for data access and analysis.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones and build cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment.
