Staff Analyst, AI

Location: US Remote

Salary: $155K–$190K annually, plus potential equity compensation. The stated range applies to US-based candidates; location-specific ranges may apply elsewhere.

What you will do

• Partner with AI product, engineering, clinical operations, and finance stakeholders to guide roadmap and investment decisions through analytics.
• Own experimentation strategy for AI product launches, including test design, metrics, sample-size estimation, guardrails, and interpretation.
• Apply causal inference and quasi-experimental methods to measure retention, clinical, operational, and commercial impact.
• Define measurement frameworks, instrumentation requirements, event schemas, and data-quality standards for AI products.
• Evaluate production model signals and translate confidence, escalation, and resolution outcomes into product and business metrics.
• Build analytical solutions and Looker dashboards, conduct segmentation and deep-dive analyses, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests, preferably for AI/ML-driven products.
• Strong experimental design, statistical inference, causal inference, quasi-experimental, observational study, and survival-analysis skills.
• Expert SQL skills, preferably with BigQuery, and advanced Looker or Tableau experience.
• Experience with ML teams, dbt-modeled production pipelines, subscription metrics, retention/churn analysis, and communicating technical findings to senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating conversational AI or LLM-based products.
• Telehealth or subscription-based healthcare experience, including clinical safety considerations.
• GrowthBook, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, lifelines, pyfixest, or statsmodels experience.
