Senior Data Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: United States; hybrid work schedule.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, depending on qualifications, with eligibility for an annual bonus program or commission incentive based on the role.

What you will do

• Lead advanced data analysis projects and transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for strategic initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to identify growth, optimization, and innovation opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues while improving data processes, governance, and standards.
• Conduct statistical and predictive analyses and communicate findings through presentations, visualizations, and data stories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 4–6 years of data analysis or business intelligence experience, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, publishing, or a related industry.
• Advanced SQL and data-querying skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, plus advanced Excel, pivot tables, and data modeling.
• Experience with statistical analysis using Python, R, or SAS.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and project management skills; ability to mentor junior analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, big data tools, ETL processes, or data warehousing.
• Familiarity with machine learning or predictive modeling techniques.
• Healthcare or life sciences data analysis background.
