Developer, SAP BTP ABAP

Location: Union City, California, United States

Salary: $158,000–$182,000 annually, depending on experience, plus an annual potential bonus and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Research, design, develop, debug, test, document, implement, and support SAP and SAP-integrated products.
• Develop and support SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, RAP, and embedded analytics solutions.
• Manage integrations with SAP S/4HANA and other systems through ETL, web services, middleware, EDI, and IDoc technologies.
• Partner with business systems analysts and departments to gather requirements, resolve complex data issues, and deliver technical solutions.
• Perform unit, system, validation, and UAT-related testing, including test scripts, test plans, bug management, and retesting.
• Document changes, create standard operating procedures, report project progress, and contribute to IT and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 15–20 years of application operations experience, including at least 8 years in SAP, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of SAP experience with end-to-end implementations and strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori business processes.
• At least 5 years of experience with CDS Views, OOABAP, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, Enhancements Framework, LSMW, and dialog programming.
• Experience developing SAP extensions with SAP Extensibility Explorer for S/4HANA Cloud, including BTP, Fiori, embedded analytics, and migration from user exits to extensions.
• Experience with systems strategy, requirements gathering, solution design, development, integration, documentation, implementation, training, support procedures, change management, version control, and testing.
• Strong English communication skills are required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP user authorizations, Fiori roles, and SAP BRF+ forms.
• Experience with middleware, EDI, IDoc, and SAP integration with Salesforce.
• Experience with e-commerce engines, cloud CRM applications, and SAP private cloud infrastructure.
• Medical device industry experience.
• Additional language skills.
