SAP Application Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support custom enhancements, integrations, and reports across enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Perform requirements analysis, technical design, hands-on coding, unit testing, and performance tuning.
• Develop ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, HANA-optimized ABAP, and OData services for SAP and Fiori solutions.
• Implement enhancement frameworks, including BADIs, user exits, and implicit or explicit enhancements.
• Build integrations using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and web services.
• Provide post-go-live support in collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional ABAP development experience, including significant experience with S/4HANA.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, and HANA-optimized ABAP.
• Experience building OData services and integrating them with Fiori applications.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies, enhancement frameworks, performance tuning tools, and HANA diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of SAP module data structures, including FI/CO, SD, MM, or PP.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and SAP transport management.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or greenfield implementations.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, ABAP RAP, or Steampunk.
• Hands-on Fiori/UI5 development experience.
• Familiarity with SAP CPI or Integration Suite.
• SAP-certified ABAP developer credentials.
