SAP ABAP Programmer (S/4HANA)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support custom SAP enhancements, integrations, and reports in large enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Perform requirements analysis, technical design, hands-on coding, unit testing, performance tuning, and post-go-live support.
• Build SAP integrations using OData, IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and web services.
• Develop and support Fiori integrations using S/4HANA architecture and clean-core principles.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and document solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. work eligibility is required; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of professional ABAP development experience, including significant S/4HANA experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, HANA-optimized ABAP, and OData services.
• Experience with enhancement frameworks, SAP module data structures, performance tuning, HANA diagnostics, Solution Manager, ChaRM, and transport management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or greenfield implementations.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, ABAP RAP, or steampunk.
• Hands-on Fiori/UI5 development experience.
• Familiarity with SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
• SAP-certified ABAP developer credentials.
