Senior Software Engineer (SAP ABAP)

Salary: $120,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and enhance SAP Financial, Procurement, Subledger, and related systems using HANA and ABAP.
• Design and implement Clean Core SAP solutions supporting Finance transformation and business adoption.
• Build CDS views, OData services, SQL objects, AMDPs, and RAP-based extensions.
• Support SAP integrations, troubleshooting, debugging, production incidents, and post-go-live enhancements.
• Collaborate with product teams, business stakeholders, engineering partners, and onsite and offshore resources.
• Follow SAP development standards, ATC checks, software development lifecycle practices, and change-control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related IT-focused discipline, or equivalent education and training.
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP experience with SAP Suite on HANA and S/4HANA.
• Experience developing SAP HANA CDS views, OData services, SQL, AMDPs, and RAP-based solutions.
• Knowledge of Clean Core principles, released APIs, in-app and key-user extensibility, Clean Core classifications, and ATC checks.
• ECC and S/4HANA development experience, including BAdIs, BAPIs, IDocs, RFC, ALE, workflows, debugging, forms, and ALV.
• Required experience with SAP BRIM deployment, S/4HANA BRIM integrations, custom-code migration, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP Build, SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and SAP Business Application Studio.
• Awareness of embedded AI capabilities in SAP Build, including SAP Joule for developers and Joule AI Agents.
• Experience with Convergent Mediation, SAP API Gateway, order and contract management, and SAP technical certification.
