Senior SAP Technical Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $140,000–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and support custom enhancements, integrations, and reports in large S/4HANA landscapes.
• Analyze requirements and create technical designs in collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
• Develop ABAP solutions using core ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, OData, and HANA-optimized techniques.
• Build integrations using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and web services, including connectivity with Fiori applications.
• Apply enhancement frameworks such as BADIs, user exits, and implicit or explicit enhancements.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, documentation, and post-go-live support.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Eligible candidates include U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
• At least five years of professional ABAP development experience, including significant S/4HANA work; the position requests six or more years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, HANA-optimized ABAP, OData services, Fiori integration, and enhancement frameworks.
• Experience with SAP integrations, module data structures, performance tuning, Solution Manager, ChaRM, and transport management.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or greenfield implementations.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, ABAP RAP, or steampunk.
• Hands-on Fiori/UI5 development experience.
• Familiarity with SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
• SAP-certified ABAP developer credentials.
