Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Holdrege, Nebraska, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Lead daily production operations and ensure manufacturing schedules are completed safely, on time, and efficiently.
• Supervise and coordinate assigned production employees across multiple processes and product lines.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Materials, Operations Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and other departments.
• Analyze production performance data and maintain safety, productivity, and policy reports.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, develop, and manage the performance of production staff.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and inventory.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment and follow established policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work on the manufacturing floor, stand and walk regularly, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to comply with facility PPE and safety requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience as a team lead or leading project teams in an operational environment.
