Mid-Level Electrical Advisor

Location: Remote, US; hybrid working arrangement with approximately 40–60% travel to project sites.

Base compensation: $90,000–$160,000 annually.

What you will do

• Support live mission-critical operations and manage commissioning services for data center projects.
• Lead and oversee contractors, vendors, and commissioning agents across documentation, scheduling, logistics, and execution.
• Review NETA electrical testing reports, commissioning reports, O&M procedures, drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Inspect electrical system installations for compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Support root cause analysis, operations training, facility audits, and commissioning process guidance.
• Travel to project sites to conduct field scope and coordinate with client, construction, and operations teams.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in engineering, building commissioning, or MEP coordination.
• Experience across the construction process, from schematic design through construction administration, including site surveys, observations, and punch lists.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, with emphasis on controls and monitoring systems.
• Experience interfacing with clients, contractors, commissioning agents, and operations teams.
• Experience with CxAlloy, BIM360, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Helix, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools.
• A degree in construction administration, electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or a related technical field is preferred but not required; relevant two-year degrees and EET experience are considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with larger industrial and commercial buildings, especially mission-critical facilities.
• Familiarity with power distribution, battery energy storage, relay protection, and emergency power generation.
• Professional Engineer license or an Engineer-In-Training path toward PE licensure.
