Maintenance Technician (Automation)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; onsite, four-cycle shift work

Salary: €35,000 annually plus a 33% shift allowance

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and support systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and technical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, repairs, inspections, qualification, and validation activities.
• Document maintenance findings and records in line with GMP requirements.
• Escalate technical, safety, and quality issues and help identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams on continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 6 qualification with 120 credits in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with automated or high-volume manufacturing equipment, including robotics, PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, or vision systems.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of GMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Ability to work four-cycle shifts onsite in Limerick, Ireland.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
